This small still life depicts a section of a summer meadow with a beaten path to a darker grove. In it the artist superbly captures the movement of the grass, intense color, light and playful shadows. Her expressively loose brushstrokes indicate the work was created in around the late 19th/early 20th centuries, and is proof of the Zdenka Braunerová's unquestionable talent as a landscape artist.
