The landscape presented here, dated 1855, is one of the artist's early works. The subject was probably architecture he could see on his numerous journeys through Germany, Austria and southern Europe. According to PhDr. Blažíčková-Horová, this is Nowopacký's best landscape work from his early period. Oil on canvas, signed and dated on bottom left "J.V. 1855". Assessment by Naděžda Blažíčková-Horová.
