Milada Marešová (1901 - 1987) MONKEYS IN A CAGE

In addition to social issues, Milada Marešová also illustrated children's books. In the interwar years she simultaneously drew for Lidové noviny, Pestrý týden, Prager Presse, Ženské listy and České slovo, illustrated, created cartoons and also painted in poorer parts of the city, where she portrayed people on the margins of society.
