Jaroslav Panuška (1872 - 1958) FLOWERING MEADOW

Jaroslav Panuška is one of the leading representatives of Mařák's landscape specialty. Here he instilled a virtuoso style and also the ability to truly capture the mood and soul of the landscape as Julius Mařák required of his pupils. The play of splashes of colour in the present work, Flowering Meadow, fulfils this vision of Mařák and, even in a relatively intimate format, appears lively and dynamic.
