Pasta Oner (1979) SUCCESS IS THE BEST REVENGE

Pasta Oner belongs to the most prominent representatives of the contemporary Czech art scene. Although he touches upon the principles of "post-production" at the core of his work, his work departs from the current dominant currents of post-conceptual strategies in visual art. It marries and at the same time transcends the classic genre categories of pop art and cartoon aesthetics. Pasty Onera's work, which includes acrylic painting and the creation of hanging paintings as well as the design of spatial objects, sculptures, installations and the realization of murals, reflects and ironizes contemporary pop culture society in its characteristic way.
