Otto Gutfreund's supremely cubist form represents the conceptual peak he reached before the First World War. Inspired by Picasso and Braque, he carefully breaks down the curves and models the figure in a thoughtful psychologized stylization. Verso: estate stamp and exhibition stamp in Mánes in 1927.
