Adolf Born's work combines humor, free graphics, illustration, drawing and animated film into an original, concise whole, which tells the story in an unusually vivid way. The author's intellectual foundation and fairy-tale experience skilfully involve many kinds of animals in the plot, the African queen Niam Niam balances on a unicorn carried by Dürer's rhinoceros accompanied by crocodiles and hornbills.
