In 1924, everyday life in Prague entered Milada Marešová's work. She perceives individual individuals in its entirety, often quite unusual, seeks out diverse types of people and succeeds in describing their moods and peculiarities perfectly. Although they seem realistic at first glance, they also show a certain grotesqueness and occur in illogical places. It was this amazing realism combined with their unspoken inner life and irony that manifested itself in Milady Marešová's work throughout the twenties.
