Uranium glass vase layered with ruby glass with imprinted lines and etched peacock decor. Production Moser, Karlovy Vary. The Moser manufactory was founded in 1857 in Karlovy Vary by the engraver and merchant Ludwig Moser. In 1873, at the International Exhibition in Vienna, he was awarded the Medal of Merit, thanks to which he later became the court supplier of Francis Joseph I later that year. In the following years, Ludwig Moser won countless other awards and medals, such as at the International Exhibition in Paris in 1879, 1889 and 1900, and at the World's Fair in Chicago in 1893.
