PAIR OF ART NOUVEAU CHAIRS

Design a pair of chairs with elements of geometric Art Nouveau and early Art Nouveau creation by the pupil Jan Kotěra. Emanuel Pelant was a Czech architect, furniture maker, and pedagogue working mainly in Valašské Meziříčí. The timeless combination of angled shapes with horizontal lines shows the care and quality of the offered model. The chair comes from the collection of the famous Czech sculptor and glyptic Josef Drahoňovský. Original condition without damage. The chairs are published in the book Jan Kotěra by My and My Pupils on page 83. Original condition.
