Bohumil Waigant (1885 - 1930) ART NOUVEAU CHAIRS

Elegant pair of chairs with plastic carving with floral ornament are, according to the early design of a remarkable architect and designer, Bohumil Waigant, who, together with Josef Gočár, was one of Jan Kotěra's most important pupils. It is worth mentioning the architect's realizations in Hradec Králové (Cardův dům, Julišův dům or Tesařova vila) or the facades of many houses in Prague's Vinohrady.
