With its first-class quality of workmanship, the unique Empire-style console table corresponds to the important Viennese workshop of Joseph Ulrich Danhauser. Already at the time of its creation, this model represented the pinnacle of the representative equipment of European aristocratic residences. Winged black and gold caryatids with dolphin fins hold a central drawer with elegant fire-gilded bronze fittings. At the base, a star-shaped semicircular marquetry is reflected in the adjacent mirror. Timeless design is represented by simple and decorated gold lines, among other things. Photographs of the condition before restoration are available. Restored.
