Jiří Kolář (1914 - 2002) A SET OF 5 COLLAGES AND DOCUMENTATION: TEN YEARS OF CHARTER 77

A collection of five collages with an apple accompanies o publication about Charter 77, “Ten years of Charter 77”, written by Vilém Prečan and published in Hannover in 1986. That same year in Scheinfeld, Germany, Prečan and a group of exiles, with U.S. support, established the Czechoslovak Documentation Centre for Independent Literature (CSDS) foundation and magazine. CSDS collected information on Charter 77, published a special issue for the 20th anniversary of the Prague Spring, and reproduced samizdat literature and free press.
