Albrecht Dürer (1471 - 1528) CHRIST ON THE CROSS WITH THREE ANGELS

This woodcut, exuding the mastery of the theory of perspective and human proportions, is by one of the most well-known artists from north of the Alps, Albrecht Dürer, and probably comes from his Life of Christ series (the Large Passion and the Small Passion). A high level of expression and visionary fantasy come together with his perfect precision of technique and form.
