This porcelain vase with facets and a narrowed opening, decorated with glaze painting, is from the workshop of artist Eliška Konopiská. This versatile, talented artist studied at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design under Prof. František Muzika. She works in a variety of disciplines: painting, drawing, printmaking, porcelain painting, sculpture, and wall textiles. Her illustrations for adult and children's books (published by Albatros, Knižní klub etc.) are also known. She has exhibited extensively in the Czech Republic and abroad and has won a number of awards.
