The Štítkov water tower, which today adjoins the SVU Mánes building, has been in place since the 15th century. Unfortunately, the wooden version has not been preserved and today we know the stone version that has been rebuilt several times. Originally, it was supposed to supply water to Prague's fountains and houses.
