Ema Blažková (1924 - 2003) (attributed) FIGURAL SCENE

Ema Blažková was a Czech painter, illustrator and sculptor. The subjects of her drawings and paintings were especially landscape paintings and portraits (she specialized in children's portraits), she also dealt with genre subjects and still lifes. Scenes from various corners of her native Prague (especially from Malá Strana, where she lived in the U Pavlánských house), from the Příbram region and the Podřipsko region were among the frequently repeated subjects of her work. She also devoted herself to illustration work for children and taught figurative painting.
