Václav Jansa was one of the Czech landscape painters who excelled in their sense of capturing atmosphere and paying attention to detail. Together with Luďek Marold, K. Rašek and L. Vacátko, he worked on the creation of a panorama of the Battle of Lipany and also captured the disappearing parts of Prague on more than 150 watercolors.
