Poster on the occasion of the victory of Herman Lang in the Grand Prix Tripolis 1939 with a Mercedes - Benz W165. The dominance of German cars in the race began to burn the Italian organizers a bit, so for 1939 they announced a race only for the "weaker" class of monoposts. However, Mercedes - Benz did not hesitate and in an extremely short time developed a new model called the W165, which complied with the rules and Herman Lang won with the car.
