The work of Bedřich Vaníček represents a coherent whole with its own timeless poetics. The works are outside the Czech environment and have a distinct psychological line. The work also correlates with the author's literary activity, when he translated mainly Alexandre Dumas Sr., Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Paul Eluard, Stephane Mallarmé and André Breton.
