Luděk Havelka (1908 - 1963) PAIRS

The chamber sculpture of a couple made of patinated plaster is the work of Czech sculptor Luděk Havelka. He studied in Florence in 1935 as a scholarship student of the Italian government under Prof. Graziosi and Giuselli. He is best known for his work in Zlín, where he also taught at the School of Art and later at the SUPŠ in Uherské Hradiště. In addition to sculpture, he also worked on medals. The work comes from the estate of the author.
