Josefína (Pepa) Mařáková inherited her father's artistic talent and education in his studio. However, she also studied painting under Max Pirner, František Bruner and Václav Brožík. She created landscape paintings and very original caricatures and portrayed well-known personalities in the spirit of the symbolist decadent current.
