Karel Nepraš was a Czech sculptor, draughtsman, graphic artist, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He belonged to the Šmidrové association, which was devoted to recessive actions and formalized rituals with fragmentary common literary activities and also to brass band music. His drawings have a distinctly ironic outlook and "unkind humour".
