Karel Postl, also Postel, was one of the Czech classicist painters, draftsmen and graphic artists. In his work, classicism and romanticism intertwine with both Viennese and French models. In landscape painting, he focused on the panoramic scenery of Prague, which was often published in graphic albums. He was also a skilled portraitist.
