Gustav Böhm, a painter originally from Jindřichův Hradec, was a student at the Vienna Academy, a member of the Vienna Künstlerhaus and emigrated to France in 1938. He worked in Brno. The Moravian Gallery owns several of his works, oil paintings, drawings and graphics. His works feature landscapes, motifs of city streets (Paris, Copenhagen, Brno), as well as views of interiors and everyday life.
