Jaromír Moravec devoted himself to painting the landscape of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, southern Bohemia, the Sedlčany region, the Elbe, Posázaví and Prague motifs. He was a member of the Union of Czechoslovak Fine Artists. He taught painting and drawing at the cultural and social center of the Municipal House in Prague.
