Jaroslav Šusta studied architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and after graduating he also studied painting, drawing and graphic design. His compositions cannot be denied a certain structural character and exploration of shapes, textures and surfaces. Gradually, however, they crystallize into almost pure abstraction.
