Lhoták's paintings are often full of hot air balloons, airplanes, airships, bicycles, motorcycles, or old cars or racetracks. Together with the Soukmenovci from Group 42, he often depicted the corners of the city's periphery. The technical quirks in its design have an unmistakably romantic and even poetic touch.
