Max Švabinský is also famous as the creator of the portrait gallery of the "Czech Slavín", which includes classics of Czech literature, visual artists, scientists, but also politicians. However, he also portrayed world personalities. Another area of his interest was landscape drawing and graphics following the late Impressionism of the distinctive Luminist tuning.
