Jaroslav Šetelík (1881 - 1955) PETŘÍN GARDENS

The range of pastel shading perfectly captures the panorama in a fine cloud cover and perfectly models the perspective. The view itself is slightly obscured by translucent flowering cherries, the branches of which are brought out by delicate brushstrokes. This is probably a view from the Petrin Gardens.
