Fritz Halberg-Krauss was a German figural painter. His academic landscapes were mostly toned with rich gray and ocher colors and were rooted in the language of realism with a slight inclination towards impressionism. Many of his open-air paintings were created around Lake Chiemsee, a freshwater lake often called the Bavarian Sea.
