Vlastislav Hofman's graphics printed in a colorless version and in the publication "Christos, Madonna and Saints, as I saw them in the illuminations of the old Ethiopian codices." From 1902 to 1907, Vlastislav Hofman studied architecture and civil engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague with Professor J. Schulz, landscape drawing with J. Koula and figural drawing with A. Liebscher. He fundamentally influenced the form of Czech cubism. From 1918 he was a member of the group "Tvrdošíjní", which also consisted of painters J. Čapek, V. Špála, J. Zrzavý, R. Kremlička and O. Marvánek. His graphics are made with brisk bravure and complement the wide repertoire of his works.
