Belgii pars septentrionalis ... vulgo Hollandia. Time-colored map of the Netherlands and northern Belgium with hypsometry. Title in heraldic and naval allegory with putii. Above in the cutout is a map of the northeastern part of America, called New Holland "Batavorum Coloniae Occidental Indies Septentrionalis Americae implantatae" with a view of the city of New Amsterdam, later called New York. Under the title in the 2nd section "India orientalis Batavorum Commercus, Potentia et Coloniis celeberrima" with a view of Batavia (Jakarta) with ships. An articulated and decorative map referring to the rich colonial history of the country.
