Vlastimil Zábranský was a Czech painter, graphic artist, cartoonist and stage designer. His work is characterised by a delicate, almost dreamlike handwriting combined with directness. The figures and faces of the girls are often the mediator of the message and their sensuality is in direct contrast to the melancholic radiance.
