A beautiful example of the famous Japanese porcelain, known simply as "Kutani" because of its place of origin (revived production in the 19th century is known as Saiko Kutani). The vase in this technique and colours falls into the category called "Yoshidaya" (after the name of its creator - the technique uses 4 basic colours and never red/red), and this combination has been known since 1824. Our example in the shape of a so-called double gourd is also signed on the base with the authentic Fuku mark and is brought out in traditional colours that together harmoniously create an impressive impression. Excellent condition, fine hairline cracks in the glaze on the base.
