Vlastislav Hofman (1884 - 1964) SET OF FOUR STAGE DESIGNS

Designs of theater stages by Vlastislav Hofman from 1948, 1949, 1950. The design for the play "Morálka paní Dulské" (Morality of Mrs. Dulská) by Gabriela Zápolská for Vesnické divadlo (40.5 x 56.5 cm) comes from 1948. From 1949, we have two designs for Carlo Goldoni's play: Mirandolina, performed by the Divadlo na Fidlovačce in Prague (dimensions 43.5 x 59.5 cm). The last design from February 1950 comes from the play "Vladimír Strojil: Zbytečné chytračení (Unnecessary Cunningness)" - Cheerful folk play with songs (using the motif of an anonymous old French farce), size: 43 x 63.5 cm. Dedicated to the director František Smažík at the bottom left.
