Iridescent glass. This Art Nouveau vase is a beautiful example of Maron Medici decoration. Johann Lötz Witwe glassworks was established in Klostermühle (today Klášterský Mlýn), southern Bohemia, in 1836. At the Exposition Universelle of 1900 in Paris, glass from Klostermühle received the highest award, the Grand Prix. Today Johann Lötz Witwe is primarily associated with Art Nouveau period glass.
