Fused, cut and patinated glass. Matte crystal pedestal. Signed on reverse: "Nízký". The glass sculpture is a continuation in a series of objects on the motif of stones with characteristic glowing color. Most of these fused glass sculptures are made from light blue (aquamarine) glass. The form is inspired by the natural formation of stones and by the stones themselves, a captivation with the creative processes seen in rivers and seas. The artist is a student of Professor Vladimír Kopecký in the Glass studio of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Since 1997 he has worked with Moser Glass to create limited editions of cut glass.
