Painter, graphic artist and lecturer Karel Valter loved nature, as one can see in his fresh, unique watercolor “Landscape with a Tent” and in his own words: “I saw with nature, by which I mean something more than the mere landscape, as I'm covering all the inner relationships understandable and incomprehensible to me that are concealed within nature, deeply rooted and offering a richer response to our lives and the value and mystery it contains. This is closest to putting everything that happens into the language of poetry, which I've always succumbed to during my wanderings in nature.”
