With this work, the artist shows her talents as an illustrator. In the late twenties and especially the thirties, she illustrated children's books and illustrated articles or published caricatures in various newspapers and magazines, including Lidové Noviny, Pestrý Týden, České Slovo and Ženské Listy. Watercolor, gouache on paper. Signed and dated "Milena Marešová 1927" on bottom right.
