This chest is a superb example of the elegant Art Deco style. It is symmetrically divided, with three segments in the upper section and a central section with doors decorated with a relief of dancing girls stylized in the spirit of Art Deco. The lower section comprises two rows of 2x2 shelves with rounded handles. The side edges are beveled, while the lower cornice is rounded and concave feet. The top tray is bordered by concave strips on three sides. Makassar ebony veneer.
