The artist studied under professors Vladimír Rada and Karel Souček at the Prague Academy in the 1950s. In 1968 he emigrated to Sweden, and today he lived and works in Cologne. The work offered here is from Málek's early Informel period while he was still in Czechoslovakia. Mixed media on cardboard. "Málek jaro 61" on back.
