LATE MANNERIST CABINET

An impressive very rare late mannerist cabinet with rich carvings and an ingenious storage system. The front between the volute pilasters with two depictions of the heraldic eagle, the emblem of the Holy Roman Empire, behind which are a total of ten drawers and a door locking a further six small drawers. Hidden under the arch of the central carving is a keyhole that unlocks the space of the upper part of the cabinet. Very good preserved condition.
