LATE GOTHIC MADONNA WITH CHILD

Late gothic torsion bust of the Virgin Mary carrying the baby Jesus carved in limestone. It was a statue intended for the outdoors, which left numerous marks on the statue due to the influence of rain and wind. Provenance: Château de Courtaney à Avry, Fribourg.
