Paul Redonnel was a French poet, writer and magazine creator, with an early affinity for Symbolism and an occult enthusiast. In the collection Věčné zpévy, in which many famous artists took part, the drawing of Alfons Mucha, placed on the cover, found a prominent position. The original watercolor, which represents Mucha's original design, is extremely valuable as a collector's item on the market. Alfons Maria Mucha was a Czech painter, graphic artist and designer of the Art Nouveau period. He was born in Ivančice in Moravia into the family of a court employee as the fourth of six children. He studied in Munich and Paris, where he subsequently settled in 1887 and worked as an illustrator and graphic artist. The piece is accompanied by a receipt dated 4 November 1937 from the Auction Hall of Antiques and Art. subjects of V. Horejš.
