In 1958 Bradáček achieved great success when his porcelain sculptures Giraffe and Television Staff were selected for the exposition of ceramics and porcelain at Expo 58 in Brussels. In the early years of his work, Bradáček was influenced by the cubism and social civilism of Otto Gutfreund and the sculptures of Emil Filla. From this period, the sculptures Lampmaker (1957) and Relief for the Building of the Mining Projects in Teplice (1956) stand out. From 1967 he worked as an associate professor at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he headed the studio of applied sculpture. Among his pupils were Čestmír Suška, Magdalena Jetelová, Martin Zet and Michal Gabriel. He created a number of free and decorative sculptures for North Bohemian cities such as Děčín, Most, Teplice, Ústí nad Labem.
