Michal Ranný (1946 - 1981) LANDSCAPE

Michal Ranný was one of the artists who went beyond his time with his work. His landscape design professes geometric order and minimalism, the color is subdued. Landscape painting does not attempt to be superficial, but penetrates into the landscape - it soaks into its essence and seeks in it the basics of colors and shapes that shape it. Every two years, the Moravian Gallery in Brno announces the Michal Ranný Award, which is given to artists whose work and thinking significantly influence the next generation.
