František Drtikol (1883 - 1961) COLLECTION OF PORTRAITS OF MADAME HLOUCHOVÁ

Twelve portrait photographs come from the period of František Drtikol's great fame, when he maintained his position as the best portrait photographer in Prague. In addition to relatively routine portrait situations, we can observe the same lady with a typical Drtikol's touch of Art Nouveau and his favorite props - extravagant hats, long necklaces, flowers in hair and folklore elements, both Czech or Asian, as we can see in these pictures.
