Karel Barták (1887 - ????) CASE WITH ARCHIVE OF ARTWORKS

The author's unique archive of works with a total of 73 black and white photographs adjusted on black cardboard, with a brief description made in white ink. Six other photos are without adjustment. The invaluable archive of Karel Barták was used as the main source for the publication Kovolitec Karel Barták by Jiří Hořava, published in 2020. The Barták foundry family is one of the concepts of Czech sculpture. Although we do not know much about his life, his work can be considered a persistent memento of high quality metalworking.
