This unique pitcher comes from a limited edition from the workshop of Madoura Pottery in Vallauris, which from 1949 produced limited editions of over 633 ceramic objects based on Picasso’s designs, ranging from vases, sculptures and plaques to complete dinnerware sets and featuring motifs of bullfighting, portraits, and animals, especially goats, birds and fish.
